I have been passionate about the fitness industry for as long as I can remember. As a young athlete, I learned early on about the dedication it took to have a lifestyle that included exercise and nutrition. I have carried my love for exercise into my adult life and enjoy bringing fitness and well-being into the lives of others. With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry , I have worked with all types of fitness levels ranging from the hard-core athlete to pre and postnatal women, to the retired super senior. I bring creativity and functionality to each workout and hope to educate and inspire every person I train with. I am so inspired to mentor and be a part of the success that can be attained with a little commitment and determination. I look forward to working with the members of Tahoma Athletic Club.

I am certified through American Council on Exercise as a Senior Exercise Specialist (and currently pursuing additional certifications in Sports Nutrition, Functional Training, and Sports Injury Training). I have been involved in fitness for the past 15 years and want to share my excitement for fitness with others. I believe exercise should be challenging while also being fun! Taking my love of health and fitness into a career seemed like a perfect fit. As a former distance runner and avid cyclist, I have overcome many sports injuries and believe in the importance of crosstraining and preventative training. It only took one hard snowboarding crash to lead me to the health and fitness world. After ACL surgery and 6 short months of rehab and training I was back on the slopes. This all was made possible due to my incredible trainer. It wasn’t soon after that I realized she was doing what I wanted to do which was to help others achieve their health and fitness goals.
I took the next step and decided to attend Central Washington University where I received a Bachelors in Exercise Science. I now have the tools and knowledge to properly and effectively guide you through workouts that are unique and fun. Wherever you are at on your health and fitness journey I will be there to meet you and bring you towards your goals.
